Hilary Wolkan is the Senior Midlevel Giving Officer at Friends of the Earth, where she cultivates and stewards donors who are passionate about building a healthy and just world.
Hilary’s passion for fundraising is rooted in a commitment to social and environmental justice: over the past decade, she has previously fundraised for the Institute for Sustainable Communities and Creative Action Institute, as well as organizations that support families experiencing homelessness. Hilary holds a B.A. from the University of Evansville in Archaeology and Art History, and an M.A. from Tufts University and the University of York in England in Classical Archaeology and Field Archaeology, respectively. Though she no longer is a practicing archaeologist, Hilary maintains a deep desire to amplify the voices of those who aren’t often heard. In her spare time, she enjoys museums, travel, and making her way through the list of “1,001 Movies You Must See Before You Die.”
