Luisa Abbott Galvao
Luisa Abbott Galvao is a Senior International Policy Campaigner at Friends of the Earth, where she works to reform climate and energy policies at the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and other international financial institutions, and to make these institutions more just and accountable. Luisa previously held a position at FOE as Climate and Energy Campaigner leading the End Climate Colonialism campaign, and worked as a campaigner to Take on Wall Street with Americans for Financial Reform. She has also worked on several international initiatives related to ending gender-based violence and promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights. Luisa holds an MSc. in Gender, Development and Globalization from the London School of Economics, and a BA from UNC Chapel Hill.
