Bernadette Badamo is the Digital Membership and Advocacy Generalist at Friends of the Earth. In her role, she creates content to move advocates to act on important issues that impact lives every day. Prior to joining the FOE team, Bernadette worked in Operations at the Climate Action Campaign, where she worked on the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act among other federally focused efforts to act on climate. Originally from Rockville, MD, she traveled to Memphis, TN, where she received her B.S. in Environmental Science from Rhodes College. After graduating, she stayed in Memphis as a GIS Technician before moving back to the DMV. You can often find Bernadette practicing guitar or bouldering while she’s not on the hunt for the best coffee and bookstores in DC.
