Maryam Khawar is the Digital Production and Analytics Associate at Friends of the Earth, where she produces campaigns, manages data, and supports analytics for the Digital Membership and Advocacy Program.
Driven by her passion for leveraging digital media towards positive social change, Maryam previously worked with the International Social Impact Production team at Sesame Workshop to develop humanitarian media programs. She also developed Marketing and Operations at Civitech, a progressive tech startup dedicated to increasing access to civic tools and services.
As an Austin native, Maryam received a B.S in Political Communication from The University of Texas at Austin. She currently lives on an island in Galveston, Texas, and enjoys taking photos of the beach, fostering neonatal kittens, and traveling to national parks.
